Terry E. Gano

April 13, 1959 - January 7, 2012

Terry E. Gano, 52, of Ranson, died Saturday Jan. 7, 2012, at his residence under the care of his fiancee Rebecca Hardy, and Hospice of the Panhandle. He was born April 13, 1959 in Winchester, Va. He was the son of Edward M. "Buddy" Gano and Charlotte (Peer) Gano, of Charles Town. Besides his parents he was survived by his sister Cynthia Gano Wilson, of Alexandria, Va.; two nieces, Brianne Wilson and Courtney Wilson, and his fiancee Rebecca Hardy. Mr. Gano worked for Woodland Concrete Construction Co., of Sterling, Va. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He graduated from Jefferson High School, class of 1977.

Service for Terry E. Gano were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Kroll officiating. Hymns were "How Great Thou Art" and "His Eye is on the Sparrow." Interment was at Edge Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Anders, Larry Kline, Dean Kline, Jimmy Ryan, Matt Kline and G.W. Ringer.

Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday January 9, 2012 at the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.
