Born February 19, 1957, in Martinsburg, he is the son of Velma (Demory) Moler, of Kearneysville, and the late Raleigh William Moler.
Mr. Moler worked at EastRidge Health Systems in the growth center and attended Asbury United Methodist Church.
At the time of his death in addition to his mother, he was survived by sister, Connie A. Moler Ott; brother, Kevin Jay Moler, both of Kearneysville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Asbury United Methodist Church, Charles Town, with the Reverend Richard Kroll officiating. Hymns were "The Old Rugged Cross", "In The Garden", and "Amazing Grace". Interment was at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, WV. Pallbearers were Josh Ott, Chris Ott, Jamie Ott, Shane Roper, Eric Roper and Gerald Rice. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Roper and Bruce Moler. Arrangement were made by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.
Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. October 6, 2009 at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.
