He was born January 22, 1954 at Ft. Belvoir, VA and was the son of the late Milton Charles Devolites and Victoria Xenos Devolites.
He was a retired security guard with Locheed Martin.
He was a member of the Herndon United Methodist Church at Herndon, VA.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Shipe Devolites at home; one daughter, Erin Devolites of Charles Town; one son, Sean Devolites of Charles Town; one sister, Merdi Devolites of Phoenix, AZ; and two brothers, Phil Devolites of Burnsville, MN and John Devolites of Oakton, VA.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Herndon United Methodist Church.
The family received friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 7 PM.
Graveside services were at the Pleasant View Memory Gardens at Martinsburg, WV on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Justin White officiating.
